Spring Street Fair

Mark your calendars now for the Varnado Store Museum’s Spring Street Fair on Saturday, April 14, 2007. It will be held on the streets surrounding the museum. There will be art, crafts, flowers and plants, jewelry, homemade jams and jellies, candles, garage sale booths and much more. The Gulf Coast Herpetological Society will bring reptiles, snakes, spiders, and other critters to fascinate and educate. There will be entertainment for all ages. A silent auction will feature great items to go to the highest bidder.

The museum will be open showing the old general merchandise store as it was in the 1930’s and 40’s. The featured exhibit at that time will be “Antique and Collectible Glass”. Plan to come and spend the day at this fun event which benefits the Varnado Store Museum.
